A specialist in technology, energy, and digital policy, she has chaired key committees, negotiated landmark EU roaming reforms, and led work on the Data Governance Act. Trained in law at Munich, Geneva, and Edinburgh, Niebler’s career spans top law firms and academia, where she lectures on intellectual property. She also serves as President of the Bavarian Economic Council and sits on numerous corporate and non-profit boards. Recognized with Germany’s Order of Merit and the Bavarian Order of Merit, she remains an influential voice bridging law, innovation, and European policy. Educational & Professional Background Angelika Niebler studied law at Munich, Geneva, and Edinburgh, earning her doctorate in 1992 with a focus on expert systems in legislation.
