Her work spans ICSID and Additional Facility matters, state-to-state disputes, and commercial arbitration before institutions such as AAA/ ICDR, ICC, Vienna Centre, Stockholm Chamber, Swiss Chamber, and in US federal courts. In addition to her practice, Carolyn is Distinguished Faculty Chair at the University of Miami School of Law’s White & Case LLM Program in International Arbitration, where she teaches International Investment Arbitration. A fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, she is recognized for her commitment to the highest standards of advocacy and professionalism. Appointed by President Clinton to the US Panel of Arbitrators for ICSID – and later by the Government of Uzbekistan to the Uzbek Panel – Carolyn has also served on the American Arbitration Association’s Executive Committee and Board.
