Having spent time at a multinational brokerage house and securities regulation think-tank prior to commencing her legal career, she has particular expertise in dealing with the financial issues that arise from relationship breakdown, including complex matters with international elements, trusts or third-party interests. Experienced in dealing with the courts at all levels, including the Court of Appeal and UK Supreme Court, Chrissie has a growing practice of acting for cohabitees on relationship breakdown, particularly where property interests are concerned, and regularly advises on the application of the ToLATA (in both family and chancery) to realise client interests where a dispute arises. Chrissie boasts an impressive success rate in acting for clients in relocation cases. Where appropriate, Chrissie guides clients through alternative dispute resolution processes and is a strong negotiator. If unavoidable, Chrissie draws on her experience as a fierce, New York-trained litigator and advocate to secure the best interests of her clients. FIRM PROFILE Keystone Law was established in 2002 by a group of forward-thinking lawyers who were determined to build a law firm that would serve the needs of its clients more effectively than the conventional alternatives. Now a full-service AIM listed firm with 350 lawyers, Keystone has won countless awards and is considered a significant force within the legal sector. Representing somewhat of a dichotomy, Keystone invests heavily in technology in order to increase human interaction and enhance relationships between lawyers and clients whilst also improving many legal processes. The firm also has a policy of only recruiting senior partner-level lawyers from the UK’s best law firms, which ensures clients benefit from direct access to highly experienced lawyers (typically Keystone lawyers have 20+ years’ experience) who are therefore able to resolve matters quickly and efficiently. Keystone Law is a full-service firm operating across 23 areas and 18 sectors with a client base comprising global companies, SMEs and private individuals with clients including: BBC, Bosch, Siemens, RSA, Cancer Research Technology, the V&A, Galderma, Glencore, Nationwide and Thyssenkrupp. “A strong negotiator and a fierce, New York trained litigator” FAMILY LAW - FINANICAL REMEDY UNITED KINGDOM Women in Law Awards 2021
