Emily Ruby Emily Ruby is a trial attorney whose practice is dedicated to representing plaintiffs in serious personal injury and wrongful death cases. She specializes in cases involving workplace injuries, construction site accidents, dangerous properties and roadways, defective products, explosions and fires, commercial trucking, auto and motorcycle collisions, dog bites, and pedestrian and bicyclist injuries, among others. Emily has personally obtained in aexcess of $50,000,000 on behalf of her clients, in addition to many millions more in cases with co-counsel. Emily always knew she wanted to be a lawyer representing individuals against large corporations who had harmed them. She graduated cum laude from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Environmental Studies. While at UCSB, Emily also played collegiate lacrosse. Her competitive spirit and drive to win continues to be an asset in the courtroom and at the negotiating table today. After Emily completed her first year at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, she began her dream of working for the large plaintiffs’ law firm made famous by Erin Brockovich. In 2013, Emily joined the Law Offices of David H. Greenberg as the primary litigation attorney. While most of her classmates were still writing briefs and memos for more senior attorneys, Emily was out in the trenches fighting hard for her clients’ rights and interests. Mr. Greenberg made Emily his Partner in 2020, and when he passed away in 2021 after over fifty years in practice, Emily became the sole owner of Greenberg and Ruby Injury Attorneys, APC. Emily’s reputation for taking on, and successfully resolving, cases that other attorneys felt were impossible is wellfounded. She excels in difficult work injury cases, which involve complicated issues involving workers’ compensation overlap, OSHA citations, and other unique challenges. Emily also enjoys mentoring newer attorneys, both within and outside her firm. Outside of work, Emily enjoys rescuing dogs, golfing, traveling, skiing, and spending time with her family and friends.
