About Vera
Vera Kühr specializes in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, including opposition and appeal proceedings. Her in-depth experience in opinion work includes infringement and validity assessments, and she advises national and international clients on IP-related strategies.

Vera specializes in life sciences, in particular biotechnology. She is furthermore experienced with medical devices and computer-implemented inventions and is thus well versed in handling interdisciplinary inventions. Her technical repertoire additionally comprises aspects of automotive and packaging technologies.

Previously, Vera was entrusted with the task of expanding the German practice of an international IP law firm. Broadening her skill into process management and business development is one of the cherries on top of her career and her commitment as patent attorney. Having joined HSS-IP in January, yet another cherry is her new task to expand HSS-IP’s life sciences practice.

Vera qualifies as a German and European patent attorney, and is a registered professional representative before the Unified Patent Court.
