Jessica was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2005, graduating with distinction from Osgoode Hall Law School. She practiced labour law as union counsel for the first few years of her practice, moving to management side counsel in 2012. She has taught labour arbitration at Osgoode Hall and employment advocacy at the University of Ottawa law school. Jessica joined Norton Rose Fulbright as Of Counsel in their Toronto office in early 2018, and Deloitte Legal Canada as a partner in early 2020. Jessica’s deep experience as an employment litigator, appearing in hundreds of labour and employment proceedings, informs her current practice as a specialist in workplace investigations. She built and developed the employment practice at Deloitte Legal Canada as specialists in this area, working closely with Deloitte colleagues to provide comprehensive fact-finding expertise to organizational clients across Canada.
