About Anastasia Established in 2004 by Anastasia Papanikolaou, our law office “Anastasia Papanikolaou Law Office” offers to corporations and individuals litigation and legal advice with specialisation in criminal law but also equally skilled services to our clients on business, public and civil law. The priority of our law office is to defend our client’s rights either in court proceedings or in legal consulting according to their needs and with the most profitable manner for them. I am a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2004 and a lawyer at the Hellenic Supreme Court and Council of State, expertising in Criminal Law. I have handled numerous criminal cases at all trial stages and instances of cause achieving remarkable results either representing the defense or the civil action. Furthermore I have a strong theoretical background in criminal law (LLM in Criminal Law, LLM in Criminology, PhD in Criminal Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, post doc research with a two month scholarship at Max Planck Institute of Foreign and International Criminal Law (Freiburg, Germany), publication of my dissertation at the scientific series of the sector of criminal law of the University of Athens (POINIKA #83), articles published in journals focused on criminal law, reviewer in article (e.g. Sage Open (Impact Factor:1,54), instructor at international conferences (e.g. 9-10-June 2022, The role of courts and Access to Justice in a Digital Era, Radboud University).
