About Marie-Claude Marie-Claude Martel began her career in a prominent national firm. However, in 2006, she decided to pursue her career at a litigation boutique in Montreal. In 2022, she became a partner at FORSETI, a distinguished litigation boutique known for favouring ADR modes. Marie-Claude primarily focuses on complex contractual, construction, co-ownership, and shareholders’ litigation matters. Renowned for her meticulous attention to detail and comprehensive understanding of her cases, she has earned a reputation as a hard worker and a skillful pleader. Throughout her career, Marie-Claude has honed her expertise in arbitration matters. In 2011, she achieved a master’s degree in Alternative Dispute Resolution, specializing in arbitration. Her involvement in numerous high-profile arbitration cases has been instrumental in setting new precedents in arbitration matters. In addition to her role as a lawyer, Marie-Claude frequently serves as an arbitrator. Currently, Marie-Claude is a faculty member in the master’s degree program at Sherbrooke University.
