My Firm is terrific in terms of gender equality, but there have been times when, in the field more broadly, I have had to overcome gender biases and go further than others to prove my abilities. I have also witnessed the power of diversity and the benefit of the unique perspectives women bring to the table. Regardless of my gender, I believe that my experiences bring a unique perspective and expertise to my clients that help them best achieve their goals. As a leading Securities Fraud attorney, how have you navigated this landscape and what advice would you give to other women following a similar path? As a securities litigator, I have worked on both the plaintiff and defense sides, which has given me a broad perspective You’ve accomplished much as a partner at Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP. Could you share with us how your journey as a woman working in the legal profession began? I have always had a passion for justice and determination to make a positive difference in the world. As an undergraduate at UCLA, and especially later in law school at Pepperdine, I was inspired by stories of trailblazing women, women who were resilient and dedicated and who paved the way for lawyers and others to make a difference. These women motivated me to pursue a career in which I could advocate for others to ensure everyone has a voice and access to justice.
