Dr. Olivia Nemethova focuses on patent prosecution, mainly in the telecommunications, software, image and video coding, mobile communications and quantum computing. She also represents numerous national and international clients in complex patent infringement proceedings, nullity proceedings before the German Federal Patent Court as well as opposition proceedings before the German Patent and Trade Mark Office and the European Patent Office. Furthermore, she regularly prepares infringement and validity assessments for clients.

She has obtained a Diploma in Information Technology at the Technical University of Bratislava as well as a PhD in Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Vienna and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of Hagen.

Dr. Olivia Nemethova is qualified as both a German and European Patent Attorney, as well as a European Trademark and Design attorney and a registered representative before the UPC. She is a member of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
